Competitive Youth Basketball Program.

LYTE ACADEMY is a team built for development.  We are not looking to just win games.  The goal is for the players to develop and get an understanding of the game of basketball and team play.  Through consistent practice and training they will work on agility, ball handling, footwork and reading the game. Our goal is to help the players under the Academy umbrella to grow and progress so that they will be able to make their Middle School, or High School team. We are there to help build confidence and provide the necessary support for development

When teams are selected it will be run academy style. All age groups will play tournaments in the California area.  6th and 7th grade will have have an Elite team to compete in MADE HOOPS, and other national ranked tournaments. Players who are not initially selected for the Elite teams will have opportunity to play on the Elite squad if they are consistent with practice and display the level of play needed to compete at that level.
